ShipTested Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-07-18
These terms govern your purchase and use of the ShipTested course and related materials ("the Course") from ShipTested ("we," "us"), operated from South Korea, contact shiptested@gmail.com. By buying or using the Course you agree to them.
1. What you're buying
The Course is a digital educational product: text lessons, a reference code repository, and a launch-readiness workbook, delivered online. Purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Course and to apply what you learn to software you build or work on.
Payment and delivery are handled by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, who processes the transaction, applicable taxes, and your receipt. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms at checkout.
2. What the Course is — and is not
The Course teaches how to test specific "money path" failure modes in AI-built Next.js + Supabase applications, and provides runnable examples you execute yourself.
It is educational material, not a security service. Specifically:
- It is not a security audit, penetration test, certification, or guarantee.
- A passing test demonstrates one specific, stated invariant — it does not prove your application is "secure" or free of other vulnerabilities.
- The reference code is a teaching model. It is not production code and is not a warranty about your live database, deployment, or configuration.
- You are responsible for your own application — its code, data, migrations, secrets, and launch decisions. We do not access, review, or take responsibility for your systems.
- We make no guarantee of any outcome, financial or technical, from taking the Course.
3. Refunds
We offer a 14-day, no-questions refund. If the Course isn't right for you, email shiptested@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. No forms, no justification required. Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method.
4. Acceptable use and license limits
You may use the Course for yourself and within your own team or company. You may apply the lessons and adapt the reference code in your own projects.
You may not resell, redistribute, publicly post, or share the Course lessons or workbook as your own, or represent the Course's checks as a certification you issue to others. The reference repository is provided under the license stated in that repository.
5. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Course lessons, workbook, branding, and site content, except where a component (such as the reference repository) is offered under its own open-source license. Your license under Section 1 does not transfer ownership.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Course is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Course is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including any loss arising from your application, your data, a security incident, or a launch decision you make.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Changes
We may update the Course (including free v1.x updates) and these terms. Material changes to these terms take effect for purchases made after the updated effective date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the current terms.
